Our bodies and minds like habits and routines

Habits and routines decrease the amount of extra information we need to process, and allow us to get into a rhythm. It can be helpful to think about the habits we have and the things we do on a daily basis that support our health, and those that detract from it.

It can also be helpful to think about how we can move towards a routine that better supports us. What is standing in the way of us achieving a greater level of health?

Setting goals with the help of health care providers, family members and friends can help make sure our goals are realistic and measurable, and help keep us accountable.

A supportive everyday routine can help set us up for success just like fueling and properly maintaining a car can help everything to continue running smoothly.

What we do on a daily basis matters in terms of our health.
