As a Naturopathic Doctor (ND), Katrina is trained as a primary healthcare provider much like your family doctor or nurse practitioner. Though we have access to many of the same tools and information as conventional practitioners, our philosophy of and approach to health and healing is what sets us apart. As NDs we aim to empower patients to become more involved in their healthcare, by providing information so that patients can make an informed choice. We also endeavor to support the body in what it is trying to do as it has an innate tendency towards healing, and we work to understand and address the root cause of your health concerns (whether it be physical, mental-emotional or spiritual). Ultimately, we aim to heal the whole person through individualized treatment. For more information on Naturopathic Medicine or to sign up for our newsletter, please visit www.valleynaturopath.ca or call us at 613-631-0137. Katrina is currently practicing out of Active Chiropractic Family Health Centre (1169 Pembroke Street East – Across from Home Depot, on the east end of town). She is offering free 15 minute introductory sessions to anyone who wants to learn about her approach, or has questions about whether Naturopathic Medicine is a good fit for them. Katrina is passionate about health education, health equity, and simple, accessible healthcare solutions that deepen our connection to the natural world.
