What’s the difference between a food sensitivity, a food intolerance and a food allergy? 

Food allergies Food allergies are less common than food intolerances, and are typically mediated by IgEantibodies and histamine – which can cause itching. Food allergy symptoms are often sudden (seconds to minutes or in some cases hours) and can be quite severe or even life-threatening.
