Practice

Dr. Katrina has a general practice. She is passionate about simple, effective natural health solutions. She is excited to be providing health services to the residents of Renfrew county. She enjoys providing health education and empowering patients of all ages to take a more active role in their health.

Professional interests

Dr. Katrina works with patients of all ages and is able to help with a wide variety of health concerns. Special interests include digestive health, heart health, working with seniors, student health, mental health, neurologic illness and injury, and chronic illness.

Education

Dr. Katrina graduated with distinction from The University of Western Ontario with a BSc (Hons.) in Biochemistry and Chemistry and a B.A. in Social Justice and Peace Studies from King’s University-College. She then completed a four year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.

Professional membership

Dr. Katrina is currently registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Community involvement

Dr. Katrina is passionate about community involvement. Naturopathic doctors are sworn to teach the principles of healthy living and preventative medicine and to encourage others to strengthen their health and reduce their risks for disease.

At Valley Naturopath we aim to work with community partners, health care providers and other stakeholders to empower the residents of Renfrew County to take a more active role in understanding, achieving and maintaining a state of overall health and well being. We also aim to increase awareness of and access to naturopathic medicine in general as well as the specific programs and services we offer at our clinic and in the community.
